The main goal of the “BITE of Art 2.0” project is to enhance the competitiveness and economic sustainability of European cultural operators active in the field of contemporary visual art by developing and implementing the free business model BITE CABM 2.0. This model integrates innovative digital tools such as BITE 360, BITE IoT, and virtual galleries, which assist cultural operators in positioning themselves in global markets and attracting a young, socially engaged audience.
The project, a follow up of the “BITE of Art” project, adopts an innovative approach that combines digital management and artistic practices to transform how cultural operators work and connect with their audiences. Activities include exhibitions in cities like Brussels, Valencia, and Belgrade, where digital tools such as virtual tours and curated digital content were tested. Additionally, the “A Future of Europe: Code Green” festival was organized in Ljubljana, involving emerging artists in creating socially engaged performances addressing issues such as climate change.
The project’s outcomes include the implementation of BITE CABM 2.0 in 13 cultural organizations across 4 European countries, the launch of the BITE Art Tour in Ljubljana, the enhancement of digital skills for young artists, and communication campaigns that reached over 720,000 young people and 83,000 cultural professionals. These achievements strengthen the capacities of cultural operators and promote the development of a broader and more engaged audience for contemporary visual art.
