Online Conference AI4Youth

Call for participants

STAKEHOLDERS CONFERENCE

5th of February 2025, Zoom application

We are looking for youth workers, educators, policy makers and young people to support us in detecting the policy gaps for AI use in youth employment and education. Together we will be working on recognition of the topic among organizations and institutions around Europe.

Welcome to the AI4Youth project. This project empowers youth workers with the knowledge and skills to navigate the exciting world of AI and algorithms for education and employment of young people. Our aim is to unlock the potential for AI to be used for good in the lives of young people. This project also champions the crucial role of policy support in shaping the responsible and ethical development of AI within the youth sector and this is why we need you!

What we have already done within AI4 YOUTH project:

  1. BASELINE ANALYSIS – we looked into the knowledge and skills of the youth sector concerning AI and algorithms and prepared a baseline research.
  2. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT – we prepared 2 curricula for addressing the identified needs of youth workers in relation to the use of AI and algorithms in 1- education and 2- employment
  3. PILOTING ACTIVITIES– we worked on training and ensuring access for European trainers to e-learning opportunities on AI literacy.

To continue with our efforts, we need you for the discussion that will help in the following process:

  1. POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS – to generate policy recommendations on the benefits, challenges and opportunities of using AI with young people based on the policy draft prepared by expert.

WHAT IS THIS EVENT ABOUT

We’re inviting you to join us in shaping the future of AI for young people. Together, we’ll delve into existing policies related to AI and identify critical gaps that need to be addressed. We’ll then translate these insights into concrete policy recommendations that ensure AI is used ethically, effectively, and efficiently in education and employment. But that’s not all. We’re committed to championing equity, diversity, and inclusion in these recommendations, creating a more just and equitable future for all young people in the AI era. We believe your valuable input is essential to this process

These consultations are the entering point for policy recommendations preparation within the project.
