Reference : 2023-1-ES02-KA220-YOU-000157056

Project Dates: 01/09/2023-31/08/2025

AI4Youth, coordinated by Backslash, aims to strengthen the capacities of youth workers to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their work, helping youth to understand and take advantage of the opportunities this technology offers in education and employment. This project aims to ensure that youth workers are prepared to meet the challenges of the digital age by equipping them with the tools and knowledge necessary to guide them towards the responsible and effective use of AI.

The project includes the creation of two comprehensive skills development curricula and e-learning modules designed specifically for youth workers on the application of AI in both the world of work and education. It also promotes reflection on the benefits, challenges and risks of AI through conferences and stakeholder consultations, which will result in policy recommendations to ensure the ethical and effective use of this technology in the youth sector.

Among the project’s key achievements will be the implementation of pilot programmes that will train youth workers in several countries, the creation of a communication strategy that will reach more than 200,000 people, and the development of practical guidelines that will strengthen the use of AI in educational and work contexts. These initiatives not only empower young people, but also position youth workers as key players in the digital transformation of the sector.
