RE(IN)NOVATING DIGITAL YOUTH WORK aims to develop and strengthen a sustainable digital youth work ecosystem that ensures the qualitative participation of all stakeholders. To achieve this goal, the project addresses five specific objectives: to analyse existing digital youth work and innovation practices; to co-create standards for quality implementation in this field; to develop training programmes for stakeholders; to support the youth work community in improving the quality of their digital activities; and to advocate for the adoption of quality standards.
The project will use a collaborative approach, involving over 200 stakeholders in a comprehensive research process that will result in the creation of a report and proposals for quality standards. In addition, it will develop a curriculum called ‘Re(in)novating’, along with e-learning modules that will equip youth workers with skills to engage effectively with young people in digital contexts. Activities will include a symposium in Strasbourg, launch events in Brussels and consultation meetings with more than 350 organisations and 3,000 policy makers.
The creation of the ‘Re(in)novate’ standards book, the implementation of globally accessible e-learning modules and the realisation of communication campaigns reaching more than 200,000 young people and 30,000 stakeholders through social media and promotional events. These activities will establish a sustainable framework that will facilitate the transition to quality digital youth work, promoting standards that will strengthen inclusion and innovation in the sector.
